How to Choose an SEO Specialist in Bangladesh

Hiring an SEO specialist in Bangladesh is difficult for one reason: the work is invisible until it is finished, and by then you have already paid. Anyone can produce a report. Far fewer can produce customers. These are the checks that separate the two, in the order they are worth doing.

Ask what they will measure before they start

A specialist should be able to tell you, in the first conversation, which numbers they expect to move and roughly when. Calls, direction requests, form submissions, booked jobs. If the answer is only rankings, be careful. A number one position that produces no calls is a screenshot, not a result.

Ask specifically: what does month three look like, and what does month six look like? A practitioner who has done this before will answer that comfortably, with caveats about your competition. A reseller will change the subject to packages.

Check whether they specialise or generalise

Bangladesh has plenty of agencies offering SEO alongside paid ads, social media, design, and app development. That breadth is fine for some businesses, but it means SEO is one of six things competing for the same team's attention.

A specialist does one thing repeatedly and sees the same patterns across accounts. For a local service business, that pattern recognition matters more than agency size.

  • Ask what percentage of their work is SEO versus other services
  • Ask which industries they work in most often
  • Ask what they have stopped offering, and why

Look for proof you can verify

Case studies with round numbers and no source are decoration. Ask for screenshots from Google Search Console or Google Business Profile insights, with the date range visible. Those are harder to massage than a designed report.

You can see the format that should look like on the case studies page, where each result links to the platform it came from.

Understand the contract before the strategy

Long lock-in contracts exist to protect the provider, not you. A specialist confident in the work earns the next month by delivering this one.

Ask what happens if you want to stop after ninety days. Ask who owns the Google Business Profile, the website, and the analytics accounts when the relationship ends. The answer should be: you do, always.

Test how they explain things

You are hiring someone whose work you cannot directly inspect, so the ability to explain it plainly is not a soft skill here, it is the main safeguard you have.

If a first conversation leaves you more confused than when you started, that will not improve once money changes hands.

Reasonable expectations on price and timeline

Local SEO is not instant. Three to six months to measurable movement is normal, with compounding gains after that, and the starting condition of your profile and website changes everything.

On price, published entry figures in this market start around a few hundred dollars a month and rise with competition and the number of areas you need to cover. Anyone quoting a firm number before seeing your profile is quoting a package, not a plan.

The best signal is simple: does this person tell you things you did not want to hear? Someone willing to say a keyword is unrealistic, or that your site needs work before rankings will move, is someone worth hiring. See how the Local SEO system works or book a call.
